The Story of Carol’s Kidz Care

Carol’s Kidz Care began as a childminding business in 2011, driven by a passion for providing flexible, high-quality childcare. Due to increasing demand, we expanded to our current larger premises at 20 School Road, Bedlington. On April 21, 2021, our nursery was officially opened by MP Ian Lavery alongside the Local Parish Council, marking a proud milestone in our journey. Just a few days later, on May 1, 2021, we welcomed our first families, and our commitment to excellence was recognized by Ofsted with a “Good” rating.

With over 20 years of experience in construction, I struggled to find childcare that truly met my needs as a parent. This inspired me to change career paths, dedicating myself to creating a space where children are cared for in a way that balances their developmental needs with the realities of busy family lives. Through extensive training and education, I established a childminding business that quickly grew into what is now Carol’s Kidz Care.

Today, with the support of my incredible team, of Early Years Educators we provide a warm, loving, and home-away-from-home environment where children can thrive and parents can feel at ease.
